About the job
We are looking for a candidate with a strong Dev Ops and SRE background to join our n RF Cloud team in Oulu. You will become a part of the team of engineers at Nordic Semiconductor developing and maintaining a cloud-based service for our world-class So Cs. A typical day will be varied. Everything from handling slack alerts and checking PRs regarding infrastructure code to optimizing a release. The Nordic Semiconductor R&D team is a group of talented development engineers of many nationalities based worldwide and headquartered in Trondheim, Norway. Our cloud team is based in Oulu and USA, and you will work closely both with developers and quality teams.


Key responsibilities

• Maintaining, monitoring and enhancing our cloud infrastructure
• Upgrading and improving all aspects of CI/CD pipeline
• Troubleshooting infrastructure and service-related issues
• Working closely with developer and QA teams

Key Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant field, e.g. Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent practical experience in Dev Ops or SRE
• Previous experience with containers, Kubernetes and serverless
• Strong background in modern cloud platforms and technologies, especially AWS
• Knowledge about databases, both relational and non-relational considered a plus
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
