We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join the Industry & Corporate Analysis (I&CA) team in Helsinki. I&CA is the corporate and industry specialists within the Large Corporates & Financial Institutions division. We are responsible for supporting SEB’s global business and credit decision makers with in-depth independent analyses of corporate counterparties, industries, and transactions. The role is central to the credit risk management of SEB and will provide you with excellent opportunities for professional development and personal growth.

About the role

You will be part of a committed cross-border team focusing on the Nordic industrials sector. You will prepare and present your analysis and recommendation to the various decision-making authorities within the bank, supporting with a thorough understanding of the customer’s business risk profile, as well as transaction related risks. Staying on top of economic, business and market developments relevant for our exposure will thus be an essential part of your job. Communication and cooperation together with the client, Client Executive and Credits will also be an integral part of the business and credit assessment.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

a university degree, preferably with a numerical focus
minimum 2 years relevant professional experience of corporate financial analysis, sector knowledge from a heavy industry sector (e.g. engineering) is an advantage
substantial knowledge or experience from the financial sector
a combination of accounting, analytical, modelling, communication and presentation skills
ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
great communication skills and fluency in English and Finnish
