We are seeking a Financial Analyst, Group Finance Control to join and strengthen our Group Finance Control team. This is a permanent position and is preferably based at Ahlstrom’s headquarters in Espoo, Finland. The role reports to the Manager, Group Finance Control.

Your main responsibilities

Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and consolidation of the Group according to IFRS.
Participate in updating Group accounting policies and other instructions.
Participate in giving support, guidance, instructions and training to the controllers and Finance Shared Centers about consolidation system, IFRS reporting and related matters.
Participate in different projects in the group accounting (for example IFRS18, consolidation system improvement)

To be successful in this role, you should have

2-4 years of experience in accounting, controlling or auditing roles.
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
Fluency in English and Finnish, both written and spoken.
Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy.
Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
Willingness to handle routine tasks as well as complex projects.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Solid Excel skills and an analytical mindset.
Flexibility, a positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
