We are seeking a Financial Analyst, Group Finance Control to join and strengthen our Group Finance Control team. This is a permanent position and is preferably based at Ahlstrom’s headquarters in Espoo, Finland. The role reports to the Manager, Group Finance Control.

Your main responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and consolidation of the Group according to IFRS.
• Participate in updating Group accounting policies and other instructions.
• Participate in giving support, guidance, instructions and training to the controllers and Finance Shared Centers about consolidation system, IFRS reporting and related matters.
• Participate in different projects in the group accounting (for example IFRS18, consolidation system improvement)

To be successful in this role, you should have

• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, controlling or auditing roles.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Fluency in English and Finnish, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to handle routine tasks as well as complex projects.
