Controller, Financial Planning and Reporting Systems
Reporting to: Group Controller Director

Job role and purpose:
We are seeking a Financial Planning and Reporting Specialist who will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial planning and management reporting systems from group perspective.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the 3step IT´s finance team during a parental leave cover. The length of the fixed-term employment is estimated to be from October 2024 until January 2026.

Your primary focus will be ensuring that accurate, up-to-date financial data is available for reports and analysis at country and group levels. You will also serve as the superuser of our Financial Planning system (Anaplan), performing administrative tasks such as access management, onboarding and training end-users, data uploads, and system maintenance. Additionally, you will manage the opening and closing of forecasts and targets according to the company’s schedule and work to continuously develop and improve the system based on business needs.

You will be responsible for overseeing daily financial updates and maintaining the accuracy of master data related to reporting, as well as contribute to the KPI´s (Key Performance Indicators). On the reporting side, you will generate recurring financial reports, including reporting to the Board of Directors, headcount reports and create ad hoc or new reports to ensure accuracy and consistency across the board.

Qualifications and experience:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in Controlling, Finance or Accounting areas

• Master's degree in finance or similar

• Fluent communication in Finnish and English

• Great communication and Influencing skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, with experience in reporting tools and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software

• Interest in the technical side of finance tools, experience of Anaplan is considered a plus

• Proven experience as superuser for financial or reporting systems

• Experience regarding project management

• Analytical way of thinking and eye for details

• Proactive mindset
