We are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer for a permanent position in Rejlers' Industrial Division's automation group. We are expanding our collaboration network and are also interested in experienced project workers, such as those working under their own business name.
What kind of work do we offer?
As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will be involved in implementing industrial functional safety solutions, as well as safety automation and automation projects. You will work flexibly in projects both as a specialist and a designer. Your tasks will include design tasks, integrity level calculations, and project work. You have experience in safety automation and functional safety. Experience in integrity level calculations is considered an advantage.
Together with your team, you will have the opportunity to develop the service portfolio for industrial functional safety and demonstrate your expertise with clients. You will collaborate with the Industrial Division and other Rejlers divisions. Our goal is continuous improvement, satisfied personnel, and a growing client base. We continuously develop our operations based on employee and client satisfaction surveys.
Your workstation will primarily be at our offices in Vantaa, Turku, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Kotka, or Kouvola. Other locations in Finland are also possible, and remote work is partially an option. We also hope that you are willing to travel.
What kind of person are we looking for?
You are the person we are looking for if you are a boldly communicative industrial professional. As an employee, you are solution-oriented and a team player. You are able to understand various complex entities and always complete your work conscientiously and carefully.
We expect from you:

• An appropriate educational background (engineer, M.Sc., or other suitable degree)
• Expertise in the implementation of industrial functional safety and related automation technology and project work
• Competence in risk identification, integrity level calculations, and the design of safety and automation systems
• The desire and ability to serve our clients with a persistent attitude
• Fluent English or Finnish language skills. Other language skills are considered an advantage
• A responsible and positive attitude
• A willingness to learn new things and develop yourself

We consider the following as advantages:

• At least 3 years of work experience in automation and safety automation
• Experience in functional safety
• Training in the implementation of functional safety
