Join Our Food and Beverage Team as a Head Waiter!
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Waiter to work with both the Restaurant Nòr and Banquet team at Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport. If you have a flair for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a desire to create memorable dining experiences, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

• Create together with the department's employees an unforgettable overall experience for the Restaurant and Banquet guests.
• Lead and distribute the work and scheduling within the department in consultation with the immediate manager.
• Train, mentor, and motivate the staff to deliver exceptional customer service
• Oversee and lead the day-to-day operations of the restaurant floor, ensuring smooth service
• Manage reservations, table assignments, and special guest requests
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and timely delivery of orders
• Assist in handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
• Maintain the highest standards of service and customer experience
• Constantly work for increased profitability and quality and to reach set goals for the department, as well as being a role model in driving additional sales
• Develop routines for the department together with the immediate manager
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a similar leadership role in hospitality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A passion for delivering high-quality customer service
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Fluency in English is required, and Finnish language skills are a plus
