This position reports to
Business Controller
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the complete invoicing process in the Service business at ABB Marine & Ports Division in Vuosaari, Helsinki, Finland. You will also help in month-end closing tasks and SAP related development. You will be mainly accountable for: •Monthly invoicing for the product groups Marine Service & Digital and Marine Propulsion Service •Supporting in ABB’s internal payment corrections and dispute handling •Assisting in month end closing tasks (e.g., reconciliations, accruals, and SOX controls) •Supporting Project Managers and Project Controllers in invoicing related matters •Intrastat reporting for EU sales •FX hedging •SAP and invoicing process related developmentQualifications for the role
- Relevant education or background, e.g. a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Proven experience as Invoicing Specialist or Accountant
- Good knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and SAP, Power BI and SQL skills are an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Good communication and team working skills
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Finnish
