About the Role
We are currently seeking a Junior Claims Adjuster to join our claims department.
As a Junior Claims Adjuster, you will receive claim notifications from our Finnish customers via mail and email, which you will then input into our claims system. You will also handle less complex claims, such as broken bones and dental injuries.
Your main responsibilities will include:

• Receiving claim notifications through mail/email and scanning them into our claims system.
• Verifying the validity of the customer's insurance coverage.
• Creating a claim in our system and sending confirmation letters.
• Handling of simple claims, such as broken bones, dental injuries, and hospital stays.
• Communicating decisions to customers based on insurance terms and guidelines.

Requirements:
We are looking for someone who

• has experience in service-oriented professions with customer interaction and care.
• previous experience in the insurance industry and/or claims handling is preferred.
• collaborates effectively with others, takes responsibility for their own performance, and demonstrates a high level of commitment to their work.
• is fluent in spoken and written Finnish, with very good proficiency in English. Knowledge of other Nordic languages is advantageous .
