KONE R&D brings together top talent from different disciplines into an industry-leading product and technology organization. What is our challenge for you?
We conduct daily tens of thousands of visits globally to maintain our customer equipment (elevators and escalators). Currently, these visits are predominantly scheduled based on calendar intervals, with static visit content and maintenance actions.
Our vision is to leverage modern technology—such as connectivity, Io T, and advanced analytics—to shift towards servicing equipment based on its dynamic and individual needs, rather than relying on pre-defined intervals and static actions. We’ve already launched the first iteration of a new, scalable analytics product that dynamically adjusts the maintenance visit timelines, content and actions, optimizing both the performance of individual equipment and the productivity of our field operations. Our goal is to rapidly develop and scale this solution across our entire maintenance portfolio, covering nearly 1.5 million units.
In this role, you will join the dynamic maintenance planning team and significantly contribute on making DMP a commercial success. Your responsibilities will include product management in areas such as the DMP application, field personnel UI, and the visit optimization. This is a challenging role that requires a UX and analytics-driven product manager with experience in developing and scaling products rapidly, resulting in substantial business impact.

With our digital services we are making sure that increasingly demanding People Flow within the cities is fluent and the everyday life of people is uninterrupted. This also provides individual learning opportunities. We have a relaxed atmosphere where respect of the individual has high importance. We emphasize working together in the teams and we also understand that proper work-life balance is important to deliver results in a long run.
In this role you would own the DMP Android application used by KONE service technicians. As a product manager, you create and maintain the product vision and roadmap, as well as own the product backlog. Together with the development team, you work closely together using agile methodologies. You will also make sure the dependencies with other teams are products are properly managed.
