We're Kanto Company, and we're looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer who knows their way around the clouds (the digital kind, though we appreciate meteorology enthusiasts too).
Who we are
We're a bunch of experienced cloud enthusiasts who decided to do something different. Sure, we do "cloud stuff" like everyone else, but we're doing it with a twist - every optimization we make helps both the client's wallet and the environment. Plus, we put our money where our mouth is by donating 10% of our profits to nature conservation.
What you'll actually be doing
We are a small company and it means that, as an experienced professional, you have the chance to grow alongside the role. You'll have the opportunity to make decisions and influence both the company culture and hands-on consulting work. As a person you have the curiosity to explore and discover new technologies and do something you have never done before. In this role, you can continually develop your skills, challenge yourself, and learn new things.
Let's cut to the chase - you'll be doing cloud infrastructure work. But instead of just "lifting and shifting" things to the cloud, you'll be:

• Making cloud bills less scary (Fin Ops)
• Fighting climate change (and making sea turtles smile) by cutting CO₂ emissions (Green Ops)
• Architecting and implementing cloud solutions that don't cost the earth.
• Working with some pretty cool clients (including a major streaming giant and some of the largest private employers in Finland)

What we're looking for:
You don't need to be a tree-hugging hippie (though we won't hold it against you if you are), but you should:

• Have 2-4 years of experience with Azure (primary) or AWS (secondary)
• Know your way around Git and CI/CD pipeline
• Enjoy being independent while knowing the team's got your back when you need it
• Speak English (Finnish is optional)
• Actually care about why we're doing this whole sustainability thing

3. Tech talk: we chat about your technical skills
4. An optional third chat with Kanto (if we need it)
