Detailed information about your role
As our System Team Lead, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our systems, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.
You will lead the System team, which is entirely new in our organization. You will be a vital force in building and developing the team that consists of infrastructure, systems and development professionals. Your leadership will be essential in guiding the team towards achieving our strategic goals.
The team is responsible for ensuring that our development and production environments, infrastructure, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines are functioning and running smoothly. Your role is crucial in level-upping the Dev Ops practices and processes throughout the company. You will drive forward and maintain the Dev Ops vision and its implementation at Mylab.
You will also be responsible for increasing the competence in Dev Ops related subjects. In other words, we expect you to act as the Dev Ops evangelist in our organization, raising awareness and driving forward unified practices.
You will collaborate closely and facilitate cooperation with many internal stakeholders, such as development teams, project management, customer support and sales.

Are you a seasoned Dev Ops professional with experience in leading people?
If so, this role might be perfect for you. To succeed in this position, you need strong hands-on experience combined with proven ability to lead people.
What are we looking for:

• A seasoned professional with a strong background in Dev Ops, including expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation.

• A technically oriented professional with wide understanding of the responsibility areas of the team, such as infrastructure and cyber security.
• A solution-oriented leader with proven supervisory or other leadership experience, capable of inspiring and managing a diverse team.
• Strong collaboration, social, and facilitation skills are essential, as the team interacts with numerous internal customers, requiring effective communication and teamwork.
• A proactive problem-solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
• A leader with positive curiosity, systemic thinking skills, good decision-making ability, and strong vision in developing operations, along with the willingness and ability to engage in dialogue and act effectively.

In addition to the above, it’s beneficial if you have experience working with Kubernetes or Robot Framework.
Fluent spoken and written proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in Finnish and other Nordic languages is beneficial.
