What will you be responsible for?

• The focus of the internship will be: optimizing experimental protocols following an assay development plan in order to qualify assays to be used by the Quality Control department.
• Performing experiments involving stem cell culture (including cell culture passages and generating samples for characterization).
• Performing experiments involving cell characterization techniques (specially RT-q PCR and flow cytometry).
• Collaborating with other workstreams and other team members and exchanging expertise and knowledge.
• Keeping meticulous notes in an electronic notebook with detailed records of information about the experiments.
• Summarizing and communicating results and interpretations during team meetings and preparing reports.

What about you?

• M2 student in the fields of Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology or related topics.
• Experience in sterile animal cell culture techniques (ideally ESCs, i PSCs, or primary cells), or using common molecular biology techniques for cell characterization (PCR, RT-q PCR, immunofluorescence)
• Experience in flow cytometry or telomerase assay is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• A proactive, positive, collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work in an impact-driven startup environment.
• Adaptability and a desire to expand your knowledge and skills.
• Rigor and organization with high attention to detail.
