About Us:
IBUILDERS DESIGN AND BUILD is a leading construction and design firm based in the Bay Area. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Architect & Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both architectural design and engineering principles, with the ability to oversee projects from conception through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural designs and engineering plans for residential and commercial projects.
- Create detailed drawings, renderings, and technical specifications using Auto CAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and develop functional and innovative design solutions.
- Work closely with project managers, interior designers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Conduct structural analysis and ensure that designs comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Visit job sites to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Troubleshoot any design or technical challenges during the construction process.
- Stay informed of the latest industry trends, sustainable design practices, and engineering advancements.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture and/or Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related fields).
- Licensed Architect and/or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in both architectural design and engineering project management.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, SAP2000, and other design/engineering software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing completed projects that reflect both design and engineering excellence.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Work on innovative, high-impact projects in the Bay Area.
