IBUILDERS DESIGN AND BUILD is a dynamic design and construction firm, offering exceptional remodeling and design services in the Bay Area. We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, an eye for detail, and the ability to create beautiful and functional spaces for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client requirements.
- Produce mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings to present design ideas.
- Select furniture, materials, and finishes that align with project goals and budgets.
- Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Visit job sites in the Bay Area to ensure design concepts are being executed correctly.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and design innovations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer (3+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, or similar.
- Strong portfolio showcasing residential and/or commercial design projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus.
