THE ROLE
We're seeking a creative, detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced International Marketing & Activation Manager to join our Canyon team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the MTB and Gravity cycling industry, be digitally savvy, and deeply passionate about cycling. Your role will be to champion our brand values through impactful marketing initiatives, driving awareness and growth of the Canyon brand across our international markets. As International Marketing & Activation Manager for MTB & Gravity, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing comprehensive marketing mix with the focus on physical events.
YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW

Responsibility for global MTB & Gravity brand activations / events in the regions of North America, EMEA & APAC.

Independent management, performance monitoring & reporting of marketing initiatives related to MTB & Gravity.

Strategic alignment of the activation calendar based on the marketing strategy.

Development, planning, and implementation of comprehensive category activation concepts in a global context.

Establishment and further development of structures and processes.
HOW TO BECOME PART OF THE RACE
-
You have completed an apprenticeship in event management or a related field and have over 3 years of practical experience in event management or marketing.

You possess a strong passion for and in-depth knowledge of various riding scenes and their respective cultures.

You are highly organized, adaptable, and excel at thinking on your feet. Additionally, your communication and presentation skills are exceptional, and you remain assertive and composed in high-pressure, stressful situations.

You can travel regularly and are open to working on weekends.

You have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and German.

You hold a valid German class B driving license (or equivalent).

You are either based in Koblenz, Germany, or nearby, or are willing to relocate—this is a requirement.
