Your Role and Your Team

Your Day to Day

• Programming of components in Hyper Mill CAM and on the machine (Siemens 840D, Mazatrol Smooth X)
• Independent control of components with modern measuring equipment (dimensions and tolerances)
• Assistance in the continuous process optimization of workflows, optimize the life and use of cutting tools.
• Work cross functionally with related departments.
  • e.g., work with Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes, equipment & tooling, and machining efficiency.
  • e.g., improve manufacturing standards and process requirements.
  • e.g., support digital improvements and innovations while working with manufacturing execution systems.
• Assist Manufacturing Lab team in development of tooling and new equipment commissioning and implementation.

Your Profile

• Educational background as Cutting machine Operator, CNC Programmer, CNC Technician.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CNC job setup.
• Minimum of 2 years’ Experience with 3 axis or 5 axis Machining center required.
• Experience in Conversational Programming (Siemens 840D and/or Mazatrol Smooth X)
• Experience with a CAM system (ideally Hyper Mill).
• Must be able to work from complex and detailed documentation and/or verbal and written instructions depending on situation.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions setup sheets.
• Experience with operating and maintaining a wide variety of hand and power tools, shop tools, test equipment. Experience operating high volume production machinery preferred.
• High level of self-reliance with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
• Very good techniacal English language skills required; German language is a plus.
