Category Manager Meat (m/f/d) BE-NL-LU

Your tasks are:

• Researching and acquiring companies from the food sector (producers/processors/retailers) with a focus on the meat food category
• Expanding and maintaining business relationships with the aim of sustainably increasing sales
• Responsibility for a defined food category
• Regional and cross-sector cross-selling
• Evaluation of customer requirements and formulation of solutions
• Presentation and active sales of our services
• Development, preparation and implementation of industry-specific sales and marketing campaigns
• Creating and processing individual offers with responsibility for results
• Carrying out market and customer analyses
• Attending and organizing trade fairs, congresses and conferences
• Preparation of reports

Your profile is:

• Completed training + professional experience or a business/technical degree related to the food sector
• Relevant professional experience in sales
• We require experience in the meat and meat processing industry
• Experience in the production or processing of food and retail is a strong advantage
• Good active network in the food sector
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Willingness to travel approx. 50% of the time
• Very good Dutch and good written and spoken English skills, other European languages an advantage
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Problem-solving skills, a sense of responsibility and a high level of commitment
