General Information

As Claims Manager (f/m/d) at Medigo, you will be part of a close-knit team handling international medical insurance claims while providing the best possible support for the members undergoing medical treatment. Medigo works for international health insurers and supports them with the handling of hospital admissions and reimbursements of their members globally.
The position is available at the earliest possible date, is offered full-time, and is located in Berlin. Medigo works on a hybrid model where office attendance is required 2 days a week.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

• You are a go-to contact person for our insurance partners and their members, answering their questions and requests, and ensuring a positive experience for patients before, during, and after post-treatment
  
• You are in close contact with medical facilities and doctors to clarify the treatment plan and costs as well as proactively request medical information on behalf of the insurer
  
• You are responsible for dissecting invoices and looking for potential errors before entering into our claims management software for settlement.
  
• You categorize and handle incoming requests via phone and/or email and, if necessary, redirect them to the right person on the team
  
• Over time, you will learn how to handle different cases from different partners - in our team, we all cover for each other wherever needed
  
• You work closely together with our Medical Team in order to create well-founded evaluations of medical claims and gradually build and deepen your own medical knowledge
  

Your Profile

• You have prior experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in the insurance or healthcare industry.
  
• You are perfectly fluent in English and Arabic. Other languages are also a plus, especially German!
  
• You are a professional and empathetic communicator, a genuine and active listener, and confidently lead conversations with different stakeholders.
  
• You never give up and persistently follow up to get all the information you need.
  
• You are very structured, analytical, and comfortable with making decisions even under ambiguity.
  
• You are extremely diligent in your work and pay a lot of attention to detail.
  
• You are a true team player, comfortably ask others for help and readily offer your support wherever it is needed.
  
• You have a valid work permit for work in Germany.
