Early English Instructor for Children

Berlin

PART TIME

Position:
Teaching English to small groups of children between the ages of 3 and 11 years old in kindergartens and primary schools throughout Berlin. Classes available only on a freelance basis for the 2024/25 school year.
Instructors receive our materials, syllabus and monthly additions, which should be adapted to suit their individual groups.
Job Requirements:
A teaching qualification is not a requirement; however, relevant prior experience working with young children and a casual conversational level of German are both necessary.
Training:
Successful applicants will undergo our training programme set in mid-September, during which they will become familiar with our teaching methods and receive hands-on, practical experience and feedback. Classes will be available upon successsful completion of the training programme.
Additionally, our instructors receive ongoing, professional support from our experienced staff, who routinely accompany instructors to classes to give constructive feedback and aid professional development.

Job Types: Part-time, Commission
Pay: From 17,50€ per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week
Experience:
  • pre-school / school teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
  • Native or near-Native English (Required)
  • German (A2 - B1) (Preferred)
License/Certification:
  • visa/permit for working in Germany (Required)
