Engineering Project Manager (Onsite)

Opportunity:
Our client, a General Contractor (GC) very experienced in the construction of the Data Centre, has been assigned the role of GC for the CSA of a 30 MW Data Centre in Hanau. They require the development of the Riba Stage 5 design from Quark and the support of the construction team during the whole construction phase.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all interface activities between various engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) to ensure seamless integration and project delivery.
- Oversee the planning and execution of MEP installations, ensuring compliance with German engineering standards and regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.
- Review and approve engineering designs and installation plans, ensuring they meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality and compliance of MEP installations, addressing any deviations or issues promptly.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, interface issues, and resolutions to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure all engineering documentation is accurately maintained and updated, supporting the sign-off process for engineering installations projects in Germany.
- Possess the authority to sign off on installation design projects in Germany, ensuring all engineering installations are compliant with local regulations and standards
- Sound experience as a Construction Manager or Head of a Technical Office in complex Buildings.
- Knowledge of both Structural and MEP disciplines in the construction of complex buildings.
- High English Level. German would be a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working with colleagues and clients of all levels
- Following our expansion commitment in Germany, capability to sign off MEP projects in Germany.
- Spanish would be a plus.
- Experience in the construction of complex buildings, Pharma, Chemical, and mission-critical.
- Working Experience in Germany.
- Certified Engineer / Certified Architect in Germany
