Your mission

As a Founders Associate – Business Analyst, you will be responsible for our KPI reporting and use data to identify growth opportunities, execute process optimization and product improvements. You should be well versed in identifying, presenting and implementing projects in a dynamic environment. You will impact Maker Verse’s business by analyzing complex data, deriving insights from it and exploring new business opportunities.

• Analyze the impact of business initiatives and processes, use data to make recommendations and propose changes for growth and efficiency
• Execute cross-functional strategic and operational projects and work closely with our Co-Founder and CFO to establish processes for scaling and efficiency.
• Responsible for the BI landscape, including building and maintaining reports and dashboards, fixing bugs, and implementing new features to improve data visualization.
• Work closely with our data team to ensure that data are correctly linked and insights can be derived.
• Facilitate senior management meetings by organizing agendas, delegating tasks, drafting decision proposals, and ensuring follow-through on action items.

Your profile

• 1-3 years of professional experience as a Founders Associate, Consultant, Analyst or Business Intelligence role in a highly demanding and fast-paced environment (e.g. consulting, fast growing start-up, VC, …)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• An MBA is a valuable asset and will be considered a significant plus.
• Business analytical mindset, ability to understand business needs and processes and proven ability to use data to convey complex messages clearly to different stakeholders.
• Strong data skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, ETL processes and knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau or similar.
• Strategic thinking and planning, effective at breaking down complex problems and driving and managing change by implementing innovative ideas.
• Proficiency in English is essential, while knowledge of German is advantageous but not required.
