Frontend Developer - React / Typescript Specialist

YOUR MISSION
Welliba is looking for a professional frontend developer who can take up the responsibilities of writing software for web applications.
As a Frontend Developer at Welliba you will play a vital role in developing new software and elevate its quality using the latest technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features for our clients.
YOUR JOB
  • Crafting and deploying user-centric, responsive web applications with React, Typescript, HTML and CSS.
  • Translating design system components into top-notch interactive interfaces (cross browser, accessibility).
  • Integrating RESTful APIs for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Collaborating closely with the backend and design team.
  • Detecting and resolving performing issues.
  • Conduct code reviews, maintain code quality and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Stay updated with new technology trends and best practices in frontend development.
YOUR PROFILE
  • You have, or will soon qualify, with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in software science, software engineering or a related field.
  • You have at least basic knowledge of Java Script and Type Script, including DOM manipulation and the object model.
  • You can handle continuous integration and continuous deployment tools (e.g. Git Hub Actions).
  • Having knowledge of SCSS, Tailwind and headless CMS systems is an advantage.
  • You are eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment following agile routines within the development team.
  • You have strong communication skills in English (writing and speaking), advanced German skills are also a plus.
  • You have a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • You are located in or around Hamburg (Northern Germany area).
