Backend Developer - C# Specialist

Welliba is looking for a professional backend developer who can take up the responsibilities of writing software for web applications.
As a backend developer at Welliba you will play a vital role in developing new software and enhancing its quality using the latest technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features for our clients.
YOUR JOB
- Implementing complex algorithms to process large amounts of data with a focus on performance.
- Creating secure and fast endpoints to manage and provide data.
- Integrating third-party APIs.
- Writing unit and integration tests.
- Collaborating closely with the frontend team.
- Conducting code reviews, maintaining code quality and ensuring best practices are followed.
- Staying updated with new technology trends and best practices in backend development.
- It’s backend: you don't have to write any frontend code or a user interface.
- You have, or will soon qualify, with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in software science, engineering or a related field.
- You have some experience with C# / .Net Core / Entity Framework.
- You have practical experience with REST / Postgre SQL.
- You are confident in handling the version management tool GIT.
- You have a basic understanding of building processes with CI/CD / Azure Dev Ops and hosting with Azure.
- Ideally, you have experience with domain-driven design / CQRS, message brokers and Azure Service Bus.
- You are eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment following agile routines within the development team.
- You have strong communication skills in English (writing and speaking), advanced German skills are also a plus.
- You have a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- You are located in or around Hamburg (Northern Germany area).
