Backend Engineer- OpenTelemetry

About The Position
We're looking for engineers who love Python and Node.js, with experience in Go or Rust, to join our team and develop modern observability solutions. In this role, you will primarily work on Open Telemetry auto-instrumentation and language SDKs using Python and Node.js, with opportunities to work with Golang and other exciting technologies and responsibilities. A passion for learning and a love for programming languages are key to success in this role.
Requirements
- This role requires the candidate to be located in Europe due to time zone alignment and regional market focus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years of software development experience with Python/Node.js- Must
- 2+ years of working experience with Go or Rust- Must
- Experience with cloud environments like AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers
- Written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Open Telemetry ecosystem
- Production experience in a Saa S environment, including:
- Metrics, Logging, Tracing
- Troubleshooting production systems
