As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and database systems that power our applications. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and data engineers to deliver seamless and robust applications that scale efficiently.

Your mission:

• API Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure RESTful or Graph QL or Grpc APIs.
  
• Database Management: Develop efficient database structures, manage migrations, and optimize queries using databases.
  
• Server-Side Logic: Implement server-side logic and algorithms, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.
  
• Integration: Integrate with third-party services, external APIs, and internal tools, ensuring seamless functionality across systems.
  
• Testing and Debugging: Write unit and integration tests, and troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as needed.
  
• Security: Implement and enforce best practices for securing backend services, including data encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, data engineers, and product teams to design and launch new features.
  
• Cloud and Dev Ops: Manage deployments and monitor performance in cloud environments (AWS). Utilize CI/CD pipelines for smoother deployments.
  
• Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for the backend services, APIs, and systems.
  

Your profile:

• At least 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
  
• Strong proficiency in Python. Experience with server-side frameworks (eg. Django, Fast API) and with with relational (e.g., My SQL, Postgre SQL) databases.
  
• Messaging Systems: Work with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.
  
• API Design: Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  
• Version Control: Proficient in version control tools, especially Git.
  
• Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platform (AWS).
  
• Microservices: Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  
• Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security standards, encryption, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
  

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in other programming languages such as Java, React Js, Javascript, Typescript.
  
• Frameworks: Experience with server-side frameworks (eg. Node Js, Express, Quarkus, Prisma)
  
• Databases: Proficient with non-relational (e.g. redis) databases.
  
• API Design: Experience in designing and consuming Graphql, g RPC.
  
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
