THE ROLE
In this role, you lead all activities of the Zattoo Direct to Consumer Business Development in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
Your core objectives are to constantly increase the reach and revenue of Zattoo’s DTC TV streaming platform, innovate and drive development of the DTC business.
As a member of the DTC leadership team and leading two experienced Business Development Managers, the Head of Business Development & Strategic Projects benefits from a high degree of independence, allowing them to bring in and directly implement their own ideas.
You are a highly motivated, self-driven Business Development professional wanting to make a difference by creatively innovating, testing, and learning quickly.

THE DTC TEAM
The Direct to Consumer team is highly motivated and responsible for growing our TV customer base while keeping our subscribers loyal and satisfied. The team consists of Marketing, Business Development and Customer Service.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Leading the Business Development Team means you:
- Develop new and impactful distribution and sales channels, while expanding existing ones for Zattoo’s subscription based services
- Initiate partnerships with potential partners along the TV distribution value chain, particularly with manufacturers of consumer electronics, platform operators, network operators, and publishers, to reach growth targets
- Innovate and develop new business ideas
- Negotiate new partnership deals and evaluate existing ones regarding profitability
- Serve as the trusted go-to person for key account partnerships
- Together with the GM and DTC Leadership team, you plan and execute the strategic development of the DTC product proposition & pricing
Collaborate cross-functionally with many internal teams

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

5-10 years of experience in Business Development or Strategy with operational experience, thereof at least two years of people leadership experience, preferably
Business sense and entrepreneurial spirit: vast experience in developing innovative ideas into concrete business concepts, effectively communicating them to key stakeholders and implementing them
Strategic thinking competency and data-drivenness
Open mindedness with ability to develop strong relationships with potential business partners even outside core business
Negotiation excellence
Strong communication and presentation skills, high self-motivation
Business fluent in German and English (as primary company language)
Bonus: Experience with regards to Product development team collaboration, a good technical understanding
