IFF is growing and we are looking for an Improvement Engineer (M/F/D) to join our IFF business in Bomlitz, Germany!
Improvement Engineer (Bomlitz, CMC):
Your Core Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Development and implementation of the investment program for the CMC plant
  • Continuous improvement and adaptation of the plant according to the requirements in force at any given time
  • Collaboration in the fulfilment of the plant targets, in particular if technical adjustments are necessary for this
  • Preparation, support, and monitoring of investment projects in close cooperation with engineering
  • Maintaining contacts with manufacturers of critical equipment
  • Carrying out root cause analyses of damage cases, deriving and carrying out improvement and prevention measures
  • Implementation of process safety programs in the CMC plant
Your Requirements
  • University degree in chemical process engineering, chemical engineering, or equivalent education First professional experience in the chemical or process industry (production, engineering or similar)
  • Ability to work independently as well as to work in interdisciplinary teams
  • Experience in project management of technical projects
  • Ability to translate changing plant capability requirements into engineering concepts
  • Knowledge of advanced data analysis and modeling is an advantage
  • Fluent in German and English
Verbesserungsingenieur Bomlitz CMC:
Kernaufgaben & Verantwortlichkeiten
  • Entwicklung und Umsetzung des Investitionsprogramms für die CMC-Anlage
  • Kontinuierliche Verbesserung und Anpassung der Anlage gemäß den jeweils geltenden Anforderungen.
  • Mitarbeit bei der Erfüllung der Anlagenziele, insbesondere soweit hierfür technische Anpassungen erforderlich sind
  • Vorbereitung, Unterstützung und Begleitung von Investitionsprojekten in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Engineering
  • Pflege der Kontakte zu den Herstellern von kritischen Ausrüstungsteilen
  • Durchführung der Ursachenanalysen von Schadensfällen, Ableitung und Durchführung von Verbesserungs- und Vorbeugungsmaßnahmen
  • Umsetzung von Prozesssicherheits-Programmen in der CMC-Anlage
Anforderungen
  • Hochschulabschluss in chemischer Verfahrenstechnik, Chemieingenieurwesen oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung
  • Erste Berufserfahrung in der chemischen oder Prozessindustrie (Produktion, Engineering o.ä.)
  • Fähigkeit zum selbstständigen Arbeiten als auch zur Mitarbeit in interdisziplinären Teams
  • Erfahrungen im Projektmanagement von technischen Projekten
  • Fähigkeit, sich ändernde Anforderungen an die Anlagenfähigkeiten in technische Konzepte umzusetzen
  • Kenntnisse im Bereich der fortgeschrittenen Datenanalyse und Modellierung sind von Vorteil
  • Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
