Division : Minerals
Location: Onsite, Helibronn Germany
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Weir Minerals' Commercial Operations team is seeking an Internal sales representative to join the commercial operations team.
The successful candidate will provide proactive service to external clients by ensuring that all inquiries and orders are processed in a timely and satisfactory manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the phone reception, direct the customer to the right contacts (application engineers, sales, other departments, etc.) and manage the generic inbox.
  • Ensure compliance with WME's standard operating procedures and WM's pricing policy.
  • Handle customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the Sales Force CRM, in accordance with the procedures defined by WME (registration of material orders, update of offers and opportunities, prior to certain orders, etc.).
  • Manage the creation of spare parts offers or simple equipment offers (identical replacement).
  • Administrative management of orders, warranties, trade credits - from order entry to delivery, production follow-up, customer returns, etc. - in compliance with WM Europe procedures, in particular:
  • Process quotes and orders within the given deadlines.
  • Master the contract review and knowledge of the T&Cs.
  • Process order changes efficiently and accurately.
  • Respond to customer phone inquiries regarding the tracking of their orders.
  • Track critical customer orders and order books with supply chain support.
  • Maintain ERP records of customers who consult or place orders with us.
  • Participate in the updating of the ERP article file, as part of offers and order registration.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the deadlines entered in the orders, so as not to alter the production schedule and to contribute to the respect of delivery deadlines. You can also manage the blocks assigned to certain orders (missing information, special payment terms, ongoing negotiations, etc.).
  • Participate in the management of customer complaints (information of internal factories, administrative follow-up, information of the external sales team and customers, etc.).
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of processes.
KNOWLEDGE/TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience in customer-centric sales assistantship or sales administration is essential.
  • Training in business or management.
  • Dynamic approach with good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and French.
  • Commercial spirit, support for the Council.
  • Computer literacy – working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems (i.e. SAP, Salesforce).
  • Team spirit and motivation.
  • Ability to work independently and be accurate.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment.
