In the food sector, pulsed electric fields (PEF) are used to physically open plant or microbial cells. Founded in 2012, ELEA Gmb H focuses on the industrial implementation of this innovative technology and has since become a global market leader in the field. We distribute our PEF systems worldwide and work closely with industry partners to develop concepts for optimizing production processes and/or products.

Your Profile
  • Degree in Food Technology or a related field
  • Understanding of food production processes
  • Ability to analyze scientific data, document findings, and present results
  • Practical experience in a laboratory setting
  • Structured and independent work style
  • Motivation and willingness to support other (customer) projects
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
  • MS Office
Responsibilities
  • Independently conducting experiments
  • Analyzing results and deriving actions to achieve objectives
  • Research involving pulsed electric fields, with possible topics including:
    • Investigating the extractability of valuable substances from yeast
    • Cell disruption of microalgae using PEF
    • Recording acoustic signals during the cutting process of potatoes
    • Validating new electrodes for PEF treatment
