Missions:

As an intern, you will be fully integrated into our Private Equity and Private Debt teams, gaining valuable experience in evaluating, executing, and monitoring transactions. This dual-role internship offers a unique opportunity to develop skills across two crucial areas of finance.


Private Equity Team Responsibilities:

• Perform sector, strategic, and financial analysis of target companies.
• Build financial models and perform scenario analysis on company business plans.
• Write investment memos and participate in the investment committee process.
• Contribute to structuring and executing financing, legal documentation, and negotiation.
• Assist in monitoring portfolio companies.
Support the local investment teams across all four product strategies, where required.

Private Debt Team Responsibilities:

• Support Tikehau’s local team in executing national and international Leveraged Finance transactions.
• Review and analyze potential LBO target companies, including their products, markets, and risks.
• Develop cash flow-based models and sensitivity cases.
• Assist the deal team in preparing credit memos for Tikehau’s credit committees to obtain deal approval.
• Prepare marketing, pitch, and client presentations and documents.
• Support the local investment teams across all four product strategies, where required.

Profile:

• Business Administration/Economics student with a focus on finance, accounting, and/or banking.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, accurate working style.
• Highly committed, versatile, curious, determined, and a team player.
• Previous internship experience is highly recommended.
• Proficient in Excel and Power Point.
Fluent in English and German
