IT Solution Architect Central Europe

- Shape the digital transformation through new IT solutions for our value streams in German plants and Service Centers.
- Develop and introduce MES and site-specific application components in accordance with Outokumpu’s design standards.
- Serve as the first point of contact for MES and related production processes within the Operations Solutions Central Europe domain.
- Identify IT requirements and optimization opportunities for current systems and manage smaller projects to change and improve the solution portfolio.
- Ensure IT solutions are fit for purpose, intuitive, and provide excellent end-user experience.
- Manage and maintain technical documentation, ensuring solutions meet compliance and quality standards.
- Drive first-time-right solutions and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with the business to prioritize changes and process improvements.
- Contribute to enhancing IT service efficiency and improving business satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with IT service budgeting and contribute to the development of IT-related processes.
- Provide input for IT service budgeting and manage related purchases and invoice control.
- An academic degree in computer science, engineering, economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing processes and solutions, particularly within MES or site applications.
- Strong knowledge of MES systems or other site applications within the target architecture.
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills in both German and English, spoken and written.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.

This position is based in Krefeld, Germany and reports to the Head of Operations Solutions Central Europe.
