Lead Consultant - Supply Chain Optimization

Celonis Services is a strategic services organization dedicated to the technical aspects of our customers' journeys, including Consulting Services, Academy, and Customer Support. As thought leaders with deep product, technical, and domain expertise, we focus on delivering Celonis implementations and driving product adoption. The Role:
As a Lead Consultant specializing in Supply Chain, you will guide our agile project teams in accelerating customers’ digital transformation within their supply chain operations and driving Celonis’ international expansion. You will identify strategic priorities specific to supply chain management and lead your team in developing data-driven insights and actionable solutions that maximize value. Leveraging the latest features and functionalities of Celonis software, including Process Automation, Task Mining, and Machine Learning, you will ensure our solutions effectively address supply chain challenges.
The Work You’ll Do:
Initiate:
- Conduct Business workshops to translate customers' strategic objectives into high-impact Celonis use cases
- Coordinate with Data Operations team from Celonis to connect our solution to the customer IT environment (data extractions)
- Lead the Celonis implementation project to ensure the optimal solution to tackle the defined use cases (Data modelling, Data transformations, Process analysis building, KPIs building)
- Utilize Celonis technology to identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and understand root causes, collaborating closely with customers.
- Facilitate value creation workshops to define measures that improve supply chain efficiencies.
- Define the most relevant KPIs measuring the customer’s success
- Quantify the business and financial potential and present the findings to the management
- Automate tasks to drive value and improve the process conformance rate
- Manage customer expectations and project planning
- Demonstrate and train customers users (set the foundation of the path to value to make the long-term customer success journey happen
- 7+ years of experience in IT consulting, solution/data consulting, or process improvement consulting, with a strong focus on supply chain management and production planning within software vendors, consulting firms, or system integrators.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions (data models) relevant to supply chain operations and production planning.
- Strong interest in value-driven approaches related to supply chain metrics (KPI definition, business case calculations) and data topics (Big Data, Data Mining, Process Mining).
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, production planning, and related financial metrics; familiarity with standard ERPs (e.g., SAP) and processes such as Order to Cash and Procure to Pay is highly desirable.
- Eagerness to develop deep expertise in supply chain solutions through continuous learning.
- Proficient in SQL, with knowledge of other programming languages (Python is a plus).
- Excellent analytical skills, highly organized, and recognized as a quick learner.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Technology Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information-oriented Business Administration/Economics, Mathematics, or a comparable field.
