Job Description
- You are responsible for the overarching CSR strategy of the company and contribute to the planning and implementation of the company-specific CSR governance, quality objectives, and the coordination and documentation of CSR activities at both national and international levels.
- As a leader, you will be expected to take responsibility for a team of approximately 3 to 4 employees, guiding them not only in the execution of CSR initiatives but also in their professional development and performance.
- Your tasks include creating an annual CSR benchmark, tracking CSR metrics, KPIs, and indicators. You are responsible for preparing and further developing a national and international CSR report according to recognized standards (e.g., GRI) and monitoring legal requirements regarding sustainability topics, while deriving suitable measures to ensure compliance.
- You will also be involved in achieving the company-wide CSR goals and manage their further development (e.g., Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), Ecovadis, CDP).
- In dedicated working groups, you will work closely with the headquarters' specialist departments and subsidiaries, advising them on CSR matters while you will ensure monitoring of legal requirements regarding sustainability topics - you are fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment to derive suitable measures to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Clear ability to manage and develop a team of professionals as well as proven experience in leading and implementing CSR initiatives
- Several years of relevant industrial experience in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability
- Completed degree/Master's with a focus on sustainability or a comparable field; further training in CSR reporting and regulatory context is an advantage
- Excellent regulatory knowledge and interest in legal requirements for industrial companies in the sustainability context
- Flexible working style and high motivation to drive topics independently
