Key responsibilities
As an Operations Manager, you will be a part of a team of over 200 experienced colleagues in the Maersk Project Logistics product in Europe, where we strive to deliver the best service for our customers. The position requires an entrepreneurial mindset with leadership skills to further build the executional team in Germany as today consist of 7 experienced professionals.
The position requires an experienced leader with the initial task of building on the team further in Germany. Together with your team you will play a key role in designing tailor-made logistics solutions and coordination of various projects for our customers as well as being part of our accelerated growth within our segment.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Further build and lead the executional team in Germany within Project Logistics
• Collaboration with our sales and growth organization to ensure consistent customer experience.
• Coordination and planning of solutions for our global customer via your team in close cooperation with our customers
• Project coordination and execution, including on ground supervision via your team
• Leading the Continuous improvement towards our customers

Required experience & skills:

• Proven Leadership skills
• Entrepreneurial knowledge of building teams.
• Experience from Project execution within is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written fluency in German & English
• A collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude
• Eagerness to be best in class and part of a winning team
• Ability to be flexible when needed as our job is not always 9-17
• Ability to travel approx. 10-15 days a year
