Working Pattern:Monday to Friday 8 hours per day

Key Role Accountabilities

• Complete handling of all airfreight shipments (imports and exports).
• Preparation/creation of all freight and customs documents.
• Handling of all customs-related activities, documentation.
• Dispatch control in close cooperation with the customer.
• Close communication with customers and foreign stations.
• Preparation of quotations, rate negotiations with airlines.
• Disposition of transport orders incl. contact with contractors.
• Price negotiations with suppliers.
• Administrative activities, invoice control

Your Experience:
This role needs to be underpinned by excellent customer service skills. You will have excellent attention to detail and possess a sound knowledge of Import / Export processes.

• Proven air freight experience, including imports / exports, preferably AOG.
• Professional training and experience in freight forwarding.
• Solid background in EU Customs law and procedures.
• Existing security certificate in accordance with the Aviation Security Act.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suits, Word, Excel, Power Point
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken/written)
• First-class customer orientation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Team spirit and organisational talent.
• Ability to work independently and sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility.
• Willingness to work shifts including on-call duty at weekends (alternating shifts).
• Willingness to undertake short business trips (on-board courier).
• Dangerous Goods Compliant an advantage.
