TITLE: Parts Assistant

REPORTS TO: Parts Manager, Mac Don Europe Gmb H
LOCATION: Berlin Area, Germany
PURPOSE and SCOPE
Reporting to the Parts Manager Europe, the job holder ensures the timely and professional execution of customers’ orders. Close coordination with service, sales and accounting is required.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are the main job responsibilities and priorities that this position must focus on, must achieve and must excel at:
· Supporting dealers via phone, email and messenger with regards to order status, tracking and technical requests.
· Order Management, including entry, back order expediting, allocations, shipping and invoicing.
· Coordinate Parts orders, shipping, and communication with Third Party Logistics Provider.
· Responding to after-hours emergency parts requests (evenings, weekends and holidays during peak harvest season).
· Assist in inventory control.
· Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience

• Formal education in Business, Logistics, Agriculture or a related program.
• Experience working in a parts distribution environment dealing with order entry, tracking and customer service, or a Dealership Parts Department.
• Experience working with people of different cultural backgrounds and ethnic groups.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products required.

Skills and Knowledge

• Sense of urgency and commitment to getting the job done.
• Proven customer support experience.
• Organizational talent and accuracy in filing.
• Ability to take the initiative and problem solve.
• Experienced in JD Edwards or similar ERP System.
• English and French Language are mandatory.
• Spanish, Italian or additional languages are an asset.
