Security:
In line with security requirements for the missions of this position, the candidate must hold European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required as part of the recruitment process. Additionally, due to the nature of our work, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.
What you´ll do
Product Assurance (PA) Tasks:
- Develop and implement a Product Assurance and Safety Plan for Galileo FOC phases, including compliance with related Statements of Compliance.
- Manage subcontractors regarding product assurance, conducting audits and inspections as needed.
- Report regularly on the product assurance and safety status, identifying issues and progress.
- Oversee and monitor daily surveillance of flight, mission, and ground operations preparation and execution.
- Support Spaceopal activities, including document approval, IT tools compliance, and contractual processes.
- Monitor and support operations validation, ensuring effective interface management with other segments.
- Participate in LEOP, IOT, IOV campaigns, and other special operations, ensuring robust process execution.
- Manage and coordinate GSOp non-conformance and anomaly control processes, ensuring adherence to relevant PA requirements and processes.
- Support configuration control processes for flight CCBs (Configuration Control Boards) and PCBs (Procedure Control Boards), and assist with mission and ground CCBs.
- Provide input to all program progress, readiness, and review meetings and boards, supporting PA/QA tasks.
- Assist Project Management with risk management processes and monitor critical items.
- Coordinate and contribute to lessons learned activities.
- Ensure that quality management tasks comply with ISO 9001 standards, harmonizing procedures and work instructions for Galileo FOC.
- Coordinate internal and external audits for Spaceopal, ensuring proper execution.
- Support SEC OPS activities, contributing to boards and tasks analogous to PA management responsibilities.
What we are looking for
- A degree in Aerospace Engineering or a similar field.
- Strong experience in Product Assurance and Quality Assurance in the aerospace domain.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Fluency in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.)
- Proficiency in managing audits, subcontractors, and compliance processes.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with satellite operations or the Galileo program would be highly desirable.
