Your mission

As an R&D Manufacturing Technician (all genders) you will ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing facility. Maintaining consistent production quality, minimizing downtime, and ensuring that all systems and processes operate smoothly to meet production goals in compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. This includes proper documentation, regular audits and continuous monitoring.
• Implement a zero safety incident culture with no safety violations.
  Identify and address any deviations from design specifications during production processes.
• Maintain traceability and history of work performed through compliance with manufacturing processes and documentation.
• Create a repository of lessons learned to promote continuous improvement.
• Maintain and optimise manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Implement a Zero FOD (Foreign Object Debris) culture.

Your profile

• Technician degree (“Techniker”) as an electrician (“Elektriker”), mechatronics technician (“Mechatroniker”) or industrial mechanic (“Industriemechaniker”).
• Training as a qualified electrician (“Elektrofachkraft”) would be a strong plus.
• 5+ years of experience in the Aerospace, Automotive, or Battery manufacturig.
• Basic ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience in the use of electrical and mechanical tools such as multimeters, IR testers, torque wrenches, calipers, drills, etc.
• Experience in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, including 3D printing, laser cutting, spot welding, dispensing, and pressing systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing measurement and testing methods (e.g., OCV, IR, SOC, SOH, CV, CC, etc.).
• Experience with safety protocols (including LOTO procedures) and handling of hazardous materials.
• Hands-on experience with inspection and testing processes in a manufacturing environment.
• 3. Detail-oriented approach to build the physical product hand-in-hand with the manufacturing documentation.
• Experience with high-voltage battery module manufacturing and testing is a Plus.
• Fluent in German, proficient in English.
