Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our primary gas-insulated switchgear R&D team. Primary distribution networks are key enablers for the integration of sustainable energy sources and as the leader of this dynamic team, you will have the unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives that will shape the future of sustainable energy. If you are passionate about driving positive change, possess strong technical expertise, and have a deep commitment to sustainability, join us as in our journey to develop those products that make “Energiewende” happen. • You drive innovation in the field of gas insulated switchgear for primary distribution networks • Lead the team and facilitate the professional development of all its members • Promote the collaboration with other R&D teams located globally as well as manage the communication with key stakeholders • You oversee the planning and efficient execution of R&D projects • Safety is our priority No. 1 - you are responsible for maintaining a positive culture regarding all HSE regulations and procedures

Qualifications for the role

• Track record in managing R&D teams
• Preferably several years of professional experience in product engineering or research & development
• Degree (Master or Ph D) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience with medium voltage electrical equipment
• Team-oriented and collaborative working style combined with the ability to work with many stakeholders in an international environment
• Excellent communication skills, written and orally in English and German
