Receiving and Stockroom Lead

We are seeking a dedicated Receiving and Stockroom Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in receiving and stockroom operations and possess strong inventory management skills to oversee the receiving department effectively.
*Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all material handling.
- Receives material into stockroom area and locates material into desired storage locations.
- Performs system transactions and routes incoming material to appropriate warehouse locations.
- Identifies damaged or discrepant material receipts and performs appropriate disposition.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves.
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of material moved or handled.
- Attaches tags or labels to materials (skids, containers, component reels, tubes and other containers) and marks part #, qty., date, etc.
- Responsible for research and root cause analysis on inventory inaccuracies as required.
- Process all receipts both inventory and MRO.
- Kits material from system generated "pick lists"
- Performs cycle counts from system procedural requirements.
- Maintain high level of accuracy when moving material to maintain inventory accuracy and MRP integrity.
- Responsible for location status and part count verification.
- Safe use of all power handling equipment.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding workspace.
- May train and monitor other employees.
- Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Requires minimum of 5 years of directly related receiving and stockroom experience.
- Requires strong inventory management skills, including utilizing ERP to ensure accurate inventory levels and data
- Experience in stockroom processes and inventory control.
- Experience in using system driven processes to control and move material.
- Experience in material system transaction process.
- Capable of performing job functions utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids.
- Must be capable of lifting and moving parts up to 50-lbs.
- Must be able to move parts with moving aids such as hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks, etc.
- Must be able to repeatedly bend or stoop to ground level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves (8 feet) with use of stool or ladder.
- Must be able to work on their feet (stand or walk) for their assigned work shifts.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a Team environment.
- Good computer skills and computer transactions.
- Good organizational skills.
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Inventory management: 3 years (Required)
- Inventory control: 3 years (Required)
