We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Scientific Leader to join our team in Frankfurt am Main from February 2025 for a 3-year period. The position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in scientific research and leadership in the field of mental health.
Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and further development of a mental health scientific research group
• Leadership in grant applications, project implementation, evaluation, and publication of large-scale scientific research projects related to depression and suicide prevention

What skills and experience are required?

• A Ph D, ideally in Psychiatry, Global Mental Health, Public Health, or Psychology
• Demonstrated leadership experience in grant application, implementation, evaluation and publication of large scientific research projects in the field of mental health
• A strong record of publications in leading peer-reviewed journals
• Experience with EU-funded or international research projects would be advantageous
• Interest in pursuing further academic qualifications (e.g. habilitation)
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken); proficiency is German is an advantage.
