Senior Account Manager, AWS Germany Enterprise, Power & Utilities

  • Significant experience in technology related account management/field sales roles with great track record (or a business development, sales engineering, consulting background with remarkable achievements).
  • Direct field experience in working with complex Enterprise Accounts and demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously in driving projects to completion, often in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in English and German are a must.
  • Willingness for regular travel activity.
  • Saa S/Cloud experience.

Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider? As an Enterprise Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology by increasing the adoption and market segment presence of AWS in the Healthcare/Life sciences (HCLS) industry. The ideal candidate has a sales / account management background and knows how to collaborate both internally and with our partners. The candidate has a technical background that enables him/her to drive an engagement at the executive level as well as with software developers and IT architects. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a strategic account plan and consistently deliver results.

The role can be based in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt

Key job responsibilities
  • Drive business growth in a defined territory of strategic GF customers in the HCLS Industry.
  • Create account plans, working backwards from your customers. Develop key initiatives, both short and long term and execute against those goals.
  • Meet or exceed your quarterly targets.
  • Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive the AWS adoption.
  • Articulate AWS’ value and influence on market trends such as digitalization, Io T, Dev Ops, data analytics and cloud/business transformation up to C-Level.
  • Ensure highest customer satisfaction.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

  • Multi-year experience in selling/delivering cloud based services to customers
