The ANNAX Group has been part of the Wabtec Corporation Group since 2018 and has 3 locations in Germany, Switzerland and China with over 360 employees. ANNAX provides complete technical solutions for generating, transmitting and displaying information. Our system solutions in the rail industry include ANNAX passenger information with many integrated subsystems, such as seat reservation, passenger counting, video surveillance, information for the blind and deaf, infotainment/entertainment systems and others.
To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Senior Audio Software Developer (m/f/d) at our Munich-Brunnthal location
What you can expect:
Together with our motivated team, you will develop embedded software for networked devices in modern passenger information systems
- You will work on the development of reusable software modules
- You will analyse requirements and develop software architectures
- You work closely with colleagues from systems engineering and design new systems with them
- Developing and designing software for audio streaming devices and standardising the audio software product landscape
- Taking over the central function ownership for audio device software
- Evaluation and introduction of new technologies
- Development, testing, review and documentation of code
- Optional: Taking over the team leadership function in the area of audio software
- C, C++ (>= C++14)
- Knowledge of IP networks and protocols, in particular
- RTP protocol family, PTP
- IP PBX knowledge (Asterisk, Vo IP, G.711, SIP)
- AVB real-time audio streaming
- AES67 real-time audio streaming
- Knowledge of TSN is an advantage
- Knowledge of SMPTE 2110 standards is an advantage
- Ideally knowledge of digital filters
- Handling and programming with Linux/Embedded Linux (system programming)
- Documentation with Doxygen, Sphinx and diagrams.net
- GCC, Make, CMake, Conan
- Code management with Git and CI/CD in Git Lab
- Yocto and Docker knowledge is an advantage
- Knowledge of GStreamer, FFmpeg and other audio/video streaming frameworks is an advantage
- Experience with embedded SW development is an advantage
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable degree programme
- Very good knowledge of English
- Creativity and a love of innovation when developing solutions for complex projects
Gehalt: 75.000,00€ - 85.000,00€ pro Jahr
