We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, user-centered software solutions. You will be joining our Engineering team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. In this role, you will build and enhance the systems that power pre-checkout, delivery, and returns experiences for more than 550 brands worldwide, with a strong emphasis on creating seamless, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces.

As a digital-first company, we offer greater flexibility in working location. Therefore, you can work from our office in Munich (HQ) or remotely within Germany or Europe.
Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with Product Engineering Leadership and Product Owners to develop and maintain our product portfolio, which serves millions of users daily.
    • Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend applications using modern technologies and frameworks, such as Python, Django, REST/Graph QL APIs, job queues, and various databases.
    • Implement and maintain user-centric frontend applications using modern frameworks and tools, such as React JS, Tailwind CSS, Type Script, and automated testing frameworks.
    • Use modern development processes and best practices, including CI/CD, code quality checks, test automation, and infrastructure as code.
    • Actively contribute to code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
    • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and drive product development.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain the competitive edge of our product offerings.
Requirements:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    • At least 4 years of professional experience in software development, preferably with a focus on product engineering and highly scalable systems.
    • Proficiency in Python, Django or Fast API, or comparable stacks (e.g., Java, modern PHP, Ruby, or Type Script).
    • Profound knowledge of modern frontend frameworks and tools, such as React JS, Tailwind CSS, accessibility, automated testing (E2E/Unit), and Type Script.
    • Strong experience with modern technologies, such as REST/Graph QL APIs, SQL, Mongo DB, AWS, Terraform, and Git Hub Actions.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to a product-focused mindset.
    • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
    • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
