Senior Internal Audit Manager EMEA(m/f/d) - hybrid

About the position
You bring a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes, following the Audit Charter. This position provides an independent, assurance, consulting, and investigation activities designed to add value and improve our operations in the EMEA region.
Your Responsibilities
- Audit Plan: Contribute to the preparation of the yearly audit plan in the region, including participation to discussions with IA management and stakeholders
- Audit Execution: Manage the execution of full-scope audits including audit teams
- Execute audit procedures and complete audit processes. Supporting the coordination and administration efforts of the engagements. Summarize and document observations and executive summaries
- Other Engagements: Participate to non-assurance engagements, including consultancy or ad-hoc investigations, contributing at audit process and coordination level
- Audit Follow-Up: Critically assess information provided by auditees giving evidence of the implementation of management actions, preparation of consolidated follow-up reports
- IA Global Standardization Efforts: Contribute to IA standardization and harmonization efforts; if requested/delegated by the transformation team, implement of certain aspects
- IA Global Ad-hoc tasks: Support global ad-hoc tasks e.g., implementation of audit software, external quality assessment, digitalization projects
- IA Regional Administrative Tasks: Support the EMEA team in administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects (e.g., training, use of guest auditors, etc.)
- Protecting and creating sustainable value for Mitsubishi Chemical Group, through audit engagements, mainly in EMEA region
Your Experience
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or Engineering and in addition you will have a certificate as Internal Auditor
- Several years of international experience within a multicultural industrial Environment in a relevant field and any Audit related Certificate (f.e. CPA, ACCA, CFA, CISA,...)
- Operating with integrity, service and team oriented by sharing knowledge and best practices for the benefit of our global department
- Thinking globally, cross functionally and regionally while always supporting our strategies and goals
- Advanced Knowledge of Audit procedures and Audit execution
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English
- Proficient with MS Office and Audit Software
