Senior Manager Product Operations (all genders)
How to make an impact - in a nutshell
As Senior Manager Product Operations, you’ll take full ownership of sourcing, production, and logistics to drive efficiency and quality across our online shops and additional sales channels. You’ll oversee manufacturing, and deliveries, establishing quality standards that align with our brand values and strategic goals, all while managing costs and compliance.
- Monitor and manage our supply chain with a focus on reducing operating costs, ensuring availability, and maintaining high quality
- Lead a small team of two production experts to meet KPIs and actively initiate measures to improve our product portfolio, manufacturing processes and procurement strategy
- Select and evaluate suitable suppliers while building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships
- Conduct contract and price negotiations and define supplier collaboration standards
- Analyze and consolidate data to identify trends and optimization potentials, providing a solid foundation for data-driven decision-making
- Work in close collaboration with the e-commerce and fulfillment team as well as the creative departments and external partners to make sure to offer the best product portfolio to our international customers
- Work with our legal team to guarantee the compliance of our products in the different markets we serve
- Own the process of imports and customs clearance for products coming from overseas and guarantee a smooth and cost effective processes
This is what you bring to the table
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in procurement and/or production of physical products, supply chain management or related areas - whether acquired through a degree, commercial training, or hands-on experience
- Confident and competent demeanor combined with great communication and negotiation skills
- Skilled and clear communication with external service providers and suppliers
- Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented person who identifies with our brand and enjoys working with a motivated team with proven project management skills
- Data-driven approach to decision-making; good analytical skills
- You have gained first experience guiding and coaching a small team
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork
- Advanced English skills suitable for negotiations
- Authorized for unrestricted business travel to EU and US
- Bonus points if you have experience in B2B sales and selling through online platforms
