Senior Product Designer for Platform Services

The Role
As a Senior Product Designer for the Platform Services team, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers to gather user requirements and run workshops with stakeholders. Your work will focus on creating reusable components, ensuring standardization across the platform, and designing holistic user experiences for a range of personas, from admins to developers, including consumer-facing services like licensing and permissions.
You will balance context switching between different areas of the platform and contribute to the design system, ensuring consistent, development-ready designs across services and features.
The work you’ll do
As a Senior Product Designer, you will:
- Own the user experience for a key platform journey, designing tools that allow for deep root cause analysis and process automation.
- Design and build reusable components and ensure standardisation across the platform, contributing to the design system for consistent UX/UI patterns.
- Lead workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, align on objectives, and translate insights into user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Design for multiple personas, balancing the needs of backend-heavy processes with user-friendly experiences for services such as Marketplace.
- Manage the design for both in-context usage and dedicated product pages for various platform services.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure that designs are properly implemented, focusing on scalability and seamless user experiences across the platform.
- A strong portfolio that showcases your work on platform infrastructure, reusable components, and complex user journeys.
- Experience working on platform infrastructure, handling context switching, and designing holistic user experiences across various personas.
- University degree in Human-Computer-Interaction (HCI), Information Design, Communication Design, Engineering, Psychology, or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a UX/UI Designer working with a software team.
- Strong understanding of interaction design, usability engineering, and design system principles, with experience in creating reusable components and driving standardisation.
- Demonstrated ability to run workshops and create experience journeys that inform the design process and help drive cross-functional decision-making.
- Familiarity with Figma UX/UI for wireframing, high-fidelity design, prototyping, testing, and documentation.
- Experience designing for backend and consumer-facing personas, ensuring usability across technical and non-technical users.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to drive cross-team collaboration and alignment.
- Outstanding communication skills and fluency in English.
