Senior Project Manager - Austria/Germany (10+)

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in a consulting capacity for a business-critical technology project based in Austria. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in technical project management, preferably with experience in the automotive aftersales market. This is a consulting role, requiring on-site availability 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage complex technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless execution in a consulting capacity.
  • Coordinate effectively between various stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to ensure project success.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to align project goals with broader business objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and adhere to established project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Communicate project progress and updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Oversee critical project phases, ensuring objectives are met and aligned with business requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fluency in German (mandatory) with excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing technical projects, ideally within the automotive aftersales market.
  • Strong understanding of technology infrastructure and software development life cycles (SDLC).
  • Proven expertise in stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a consulting capacity, 2-3 days per week on-site in Austria, with travel as needed.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and complex project requirements.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
