- Design and develop test plans and test cases based upon functional and design specifications.
- You not only work in our core product, you will also work with plugins and modules in different languages and frameworks to integrate the plugin into existing shop systems.
- Create and conduct automatic and manual tests.
- Continually review and update our test suites.
- Participate (pro)-actively in a variety of testing activities to test our complete product suite during regular work hours and nightly deployments.
- Utilize analytical skills in determining the root cause of problems and work closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve any issues.
- Enhance quality functional testing by identifying and helping to implement initiatives that will improve capability and efficiency.
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of software testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of creating automated tests with Selenium, JBehave, Junit.
- Good knowledge in Java, Java Script, Ember.js, PHP, GWT and general web development.
- Understanding of the software lifecycle and agile development.
- My SQL skills are an advantage.
- Experience with Scrum / Kanban methodologies are an advantage
- The ability to communicate in English (verbal and written), ideally also in German.
