For our project site in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein, we are currently looking for a Material Manager to support our project team for the next two years as of now.

Job Description:

• Manage material planning activities on the project, from proposal to client turnover.
• Coordinate a team of material planners both in the home office and on-site
• Negotiate and manage the procurement of large and complex material packages.
• Develop and implement logistics plans, including customs clearance processes.
• Oversee the execution of logistics plans and manage expediting teams.
• Develop and implement site material management plans to support construction.
• Ensure compliance with international commercial terms.

Basic Job Requirements:

• Experience in material management on international projects.
• Knowledge of logistics processes and customs clearance.
• Strong negotiation and procurement management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software.
• Professional certifications in material management.
